let’s be honest, don’t overlook these; I have always had a favorite tabletop easel and I think kids can benefit from them too! This one is made by the excellent Melissa and Doug. Great for tots through tweens. This easel comes with an array of cool tools including colored chalk sticks, 36 magnetic letters and numbers for the whiteboard, an art supply tray to hold spare materials.
It also folds flat for storage . Great for trips to the relatives as it sets up on a dime.
Little Partners Multi-Use Kids Easel
This dual sided, A-frame easel is just like a smaller replica of mine (though I didn’t have one this pretty!) with an added bonus of different colors -there are also 2 bins as well as 2 shelves on the bottom to keep materials tidy.
Included are paint cups, eraser for the dry erase board and a paper roll. It’s 17″ in width, so any subsequent rolls will have to be that width limit.
Now for the best part – unscrew the bottom legs (the shelves will detach) and presto change-o, your kiddos have got themselves a tabletop easel – great for switching over if they’ve got their own activity table and chair.
