Handmade Red Tree Oil Painting

I just love this handmade painting for the living room in red tones I have found! This beauty here comes in two different sizes; either of which will display nicely above your living room sofa.

It is genuinely hand-painted, NOT a “repro” or print – and the black and white contrast with the vibrant red tree stands out very vividly. It reminds me of the trees that line the walkway of my neighborhood entrance as their autumn colors come into play this time of year.

Lately I’ve been doing a ritual of periodically changing my artwork; sometimes I get tired of the entourage I have hanging up and need to swap them out for other paintings. It really helps brighten my day.

Sometimes I spend a disproportionate amount of time making sure I choose those with just the “right” color combination so they will be in sync with the rest of my home furnishings. Red is the most vibrant color so it is ideal as an accent color and can really liven up a blase-looking environment.

It’s a warm color too, so it is best paired up with other warm tones. I have terra cotta colored walls which is a good match for orange or red tone paintings.

This canvas here, paired up with colors like yellow, black or white? Beautiful!
