Kids Camping Printables for an Unforgettable Trip
Planning a camping trip to explore and make memories with your little ones? We know getting ready to travel with the whole family can be time consuming and even a bit stressful at times, which is why printables and games are a great way to keep kids busy and learning!
In case you’re heading out to a family camping trip soon or planning one for the summer, CarRentals put together a list of printables that will help keep the “are we there yet?” and “I’m bored” at a minimum. These will not only keep the kiddos busy but also focused on the excitement of their outdoor adventure.
Animal Tracks Explorer
Love this animal tracks explorer printable as it will encourage their sense of adventure and curiosity. Bring it along with you as you start your hike and teach them about safety and precautions to take when out in the wild.
Camping Scavenger Hunt
One of my favorites on the list, this scavenger hunt includes common nature elements and camping supplies that you most likely packed so you don’t spend your time putting together and hiding clues. Play this game in teams for a little healthy family competition.
Check out the full list of printables and camping games for endless fun and entertainment. Pack these along with crayons, a travel tray, snacks and baby wipes for a smooth car ride. Happy camping and safe travels!
It’s been awhile since I went on a camping trip, but it definitely made a lifelong impression n me getting to go! Nothing beats being out and about in nature and away from modern conveniences for awhile. Yep, I have always had a soft spot for the classics, like the scavenger hunt….
Now this journal idea on the list, is really cool too. What better way to spend a day recapturing all the sights, smells and scenes from your awesome trip? Perhaps the outdoor adventure could become a good subject for older kids, to start a scrapbook? That would be a great activity to preserve an outdoor adventure.
So I think you and the kiddos will have fun with this…let me know how it goes!
